| Located on the cliff tops at Southbourne, next to the cliff lifts and Fisherman's Walk, this hotel has spectacular views. It is close to the New Forest and Bournemouth town centre. Panoramic sea views across Poole Bay take in Swanage to the West, and Hengistbury Head and the Isle of Wight to the East. Great-value food and drinks, including Real Ales, are served daily in the lounge bar. Commodore Hotel was used to house American airmen in WW2. Today, following refurbishment, each bedroom has a brand-new bed with luxurious duvets and pillows, and Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. Bathrooms have new fittings and power showers. |
